How the ElectricKit Classic Works?
2 & 4 Oven Cookers

Your desired temperature of the top oven can be set via the display (oven temperature range ambient to 280oC). Once set and if the oven requires heat, the top and middle oven elements energise heating both ovens. Under stable constant running conditions, the bottom oven runs at approximately 65% of the top oven temperature and this temperature can also be reduced with the use of a cold shelf.

The ElectricKit Classic top oven elements have been carefully balanced to enhance and provide a uniform heat distribution throughout the top oven, this brings a much improved cooking experience which is more comparable to an original oil or gas cast iron range.

The bottom oven element is controlled by the bottom right thermostat on the control panel, the use of this element can be used to accelerate the bottom oven heat up time and also raise the oven temperature further so that it can be used to bake or roast.

The left hand ovens are controlled by the bottom left thermostat on the control panel (top left oven temperature range ambient to 130oC). The heating element is sited in the duct on the side of these ovens, allowing the hot air to circulate through the ovens as they were originally designed.

The ElectricKit Classic features two independent & fully controllable hob plates, each hob is controlled by it’s own thermostat on the control panel. This enables you to choose whether you require one or both of the hobs to be running and set each hob to the required heat, whether that be frying, boiling or simmer!

We also have a conversion kit for 3 oven cookers, sporting the same independent hobs as our other models (Illustrated above).

The top right hand oven is control by a dial with settings 1-8. This activates the top and the middle oven elements together.

The left hand ovens are also controlled by a 1-8 dial allowing this oven to get up to baking and roasting temperature. The element is situated below the left hand bottom oven.

Please note that we have had an update on the smart Life app that works with our ElectricKit Advanced, as a result you will need to go through the pairing process again. Please click here to view our helpful step by step video.
